Hi all- Does anyone have a child that can't fall asleep or stay asleep. My 11 yo son has this problem. Pediatrician said to try melatonin - helps a bit but I don't like giving it to him all the time. Not sure if anxiety is the root of the problem but exhaustion is setting in. Any tips?

Have you been able to find anything that works for your ds?

Thanks for asking. I haven't really found anything. The melatonin helps some.

That Sleepy Time Extra does work. I sometimes use it myself. Careful though - I once had 2 cups before bed and woke in the night to use the bathroom (side effect of drinking tea before bed), my legs were like noodles and I fell to the floor. I am certain that it was too much valerian from the tea and am now careful to drink only 1 cup.
