As many of you know, Amy is so hapy to be back on her soccer team and working her way toward being back in her normal role as a starting forward.

At this age, just give them things to do, make your own pizza, decorate your own cupcake, etc...., a few games and a movie or two, and step back. They will make their own fun! Enjoy!!

I agree with Ramona! At this age, just making sure plenty of snacks are in the house, movies to choose from, etc. and they pretty much entertain themselves. After last year's unfortunate party, I am excited to hear she'll be able to do a wonderful one this year! I hope she has a great time!!

I would let Amy take the lead and ask her what she wants to do instead of planning much. By 14, my main job was buying snacks and keeping younger brothers out of the basement. :)

Some things my girls liked at that age:

board games that involve a lot of talking/gossiping/daring

You have awesome ideas, Theresa!! I "ditto" the makeover and fortune telling themes. I only have boys but the sleepovers I remember from being a kid always involved those two things. Well, we didn't have a psyhic (though that sounds cool) but I definitely remember playing around with a Ouija Board and Magic 8 ball. :smileyhappy:

How many girls will you have sleeping over? Happy (early) birthday to Amy!

This will not be an overplanned event at all - I know less is more structure wise but more is more junk food wise! She is just so excited to start planning now.

I know how much these girls can eat! so extra is a must (and Amy will not mind leftovers either)

A theme party is an idea but it looks like we will go with a plain Jane straightforward sleepover - since the girls know each other so well it will be active I am sure!
