I can't believe it, but Abigail will be 15 next week. I'll still be here because Will is 13, but time has gone so quickly!

We were googling birthday party ideas and found a really funny one that I wanted to share with you, just in case you aren't familiar with it. It would be good for all ages.

It's a game called "Toast." You get a loaf of pre-sliced bread and have each guest bring a condiment. The guests sit in a circle and put a piece of bread in a toaster. They pass the condiments around the circle and when the toast pops, they cut it into small pieces and each guest has to eat his/her piece with the condiment he/she is holding. There are several variations to this game, but this is the one she chose.

That sounds like a really cute party idea, as long as you don't have a super picky eater like mine. ;-)

It's funny that you should ask how many girls she's going to invite because she is one of the few kids her age around here who still have girls only parties. So many of them have both boys and girls at their parties.

She's not ready for that, so she's just having 6 or 7 girls and

Nope, I'll be here. I like this board and I also have a 13 yo DS who is a bit more typical, so I need all the help I can get!

Typical 13 year old sounds like an oxymoron!
