He's been quite the handful lately (bad attitude, trouble at school, etc.) so I wanted to enjoy telling some good news for a change...

Aww, I can tell you are so proud of him.
Thats great, I bet he was happy to hear what they thought of him & that kindof positive reinforcement always helps w/self esteem.
