Well, First it was Tim for 2 years ans half way through his time Matthew got braces so it's been 3, almost 4 years. So it exciting to be done. I don't think the girls will need them. so this period of our lives will be over.

That is awesome Chelle!! I am so dreading having to do all of that with the two younger ones. We know Emma will need quite a bit of work, we're not sure about Madison yet.

Oh me too. LOL I was 13 when I got them off and 15 when they came off. I was so happy with how they came out too and still am. I had serious buck teeth going on.

Congratulations!! I'd love to be in your shoes, but we've got another year for Will. I remember my parents complaining about spending $1500 on my braces in the 1970s--that sounds like a real bargain now.

Thats great Chelle. We have a consultation in February to see where she stands. She no longer needs elastrics at night so I guess thats progress. My dd had no bite, her top & bottom teeth just came together when she closed her mouth. She is beginning to get a small over bite now. In Maine the ortho was talking surgery, this orth here has never mention it once & it will be interesting to see what he has to say when we go. Dh has already decided against surgery involving moving the jaw around etc., he figures its just not worth the pain & possible complications. Hopefully she will continue to get an overbite plus they are waiting for two back upper molars to come in that should push her teeth forward more.

That payment is almost like a car payment, I'll be glad when its gone.
