I know I posted about my 13 year old being ungrateful and stuff but I think there is bigger issue here.
I've noticed that he cries at the drop of a hat, his eating patterns are all over the place, he's sleeping tons, easily agitated and I could go on.

Call your pediatrician to see what he/she says and if you can get him seen before your new insurance kicks in, go for it.
BTDT. Check with your pediatrician first. He or she will do a blood draw to rule out any physical cause. This is very important, as many doctors will not prescribe antidepressants to kids without this. Actually, the good ones will insist that you do this.

Hugs, I'm sorry you and your son are going through this. Depression is a serious and dangerous illness, so please don't delay. Call your son's regular doctor for starters, get a referral to a counselor. If your son is on ADHD meds, it is possible that the drugs could be a cause.
