Well if his account is set up on the family computer you can see what he is downloading without the password - it is under purchased.
We have one main computer where we have an itunes account that we all use and then set up different play lists but I can see all the music.

Cheryl, when we were setting up the account it looked like I was going to need to enter a credit card in addition to the gift card.
Mostly what the girls download is praise and worship tunes.
