Does anyone else have a 10-14 who is absolutely and completely anything but a morning person? While this has been true of Amy for years it seems to have intensified the last few mos.

Naw, for the most part the kids wake up in decent moods.

No, not here. My kids are fine in the morning, they just get up and go about their business. I'm absolutely a morning person so they must take after me.

I have one of each. Evan has never complained about getting up even for 5:45 am swim practice. Megan, on the other hand, is incredibly cranky when she gets up. Can't wait to see how she is when she has 5:45 am swim practice - not! As an 8th grader (maybe the end of 7th grade) she will go once a week and our high school varsity swimmers practice every weekday morning before school.

Although #1's Saturday practices aren't super early, getting up at 6:45 on a cold, January, Saturday seems a bit cruel, but at 17yo she got up pretty eagerly for color guard practice.
