When your teen embarrasses you

I thought it was my job as a parent to embarrass my kids by doing "mom" things, such as wearing dorky clothes or asking embarrassing questions, but today, my daughter turned the tables.
We were in a store dressing room where I was helping her try on dresses. She put on one that was really unflattering and made her look pregnant. But instead of saying, "This makes me look fat" or "I look pregnant in this" like most girls would do, she said in a too-loud voice, "Mom! I felt it kick!" I'm sure everyone in that dressing room heard her.
Most of the time, I really appreciate her sarcastic wit, but today I wanted to slink out of there.
