I have never really understood parents buying games like that for younger kids...heck I don't get it for older kids.

Caleb won't be getting on that top ten list, but he will be getting one of their recommended ones.

Well, I bought two of the "don't buy" games for my son (14 this month) - Saints Row and Left 4 Dead.

My DH is pretty savvy with electronics and games and such...but I know us moms don't always know which games are ok or not. You can't always go off the ratings either because sometimes they're off.

Just wanted to share the info that was shared with me. My DS asked for the Shaun White Snowboarding game. I guess I'll get it for his stocking.

Evan got the Shaun White snowboarding game from my parents for his birthday a few weeks ago. It's really fun and he LOVES it. My dad (age 63) even tried it (he's a GREAT sport and game for just about anything) and had fun. :) Your kids will LOVE it (especially if they're into snowboarding).

I'm glad to report that our family is more interested in the game advertised at the bottom of that page:
Thanks to Kelly (mom2emsopmax) for my beautiful siggy! Photobucket
