11 year old boy hitting puberty?

Hello all,

Well first off I'll introduce myself. My name is Kristy and I'm a mom of two. My son is 11 and my daughter is 18 months. My son is from my first marriage. I've been married to my daughters dad for almost 6 years now.

So on to my question :) I think my son is hitting puberty. I found a pair of his underpants stuffed in the bathroom cabinet with a bit of white staining on them. Is he to young to be masturbating yet? We'd noticed he'd been spending quite alot of time in the bathroom lately, but didn't really put two and two together.

He seems so young for it. He still seems to be so much a little boy to me...more interested in playing basketball and video games!

Any help/thoughts are appreciated!

Thanks for your response! I'm pretty sure I still have my little boy for a bit longer too, but am getting more used to the idea of him growing up!

I have an 11 yr old and a 22 yr old. It could be a "wet dream" and he can't control it. Maybe it's time for dad to have a little talk about those type of things.

I remember my oldest went through that, not a big deal.
