I think you have to remember your title---DRAMA Queen---At this age, girls especially, don't handle constructive criticism well, they get defensive and take it personal and get all emotional.
First I think you need to pat yourself on the back!!! I'm not sure I could've been sooooo patient. I think she will need to lose friends to realize how horrid she is being. If it were me i would also ban myspace etc as you don't want police knocking for her harrassing another child. As far as getting invited to sleepovers could you have 1 at your house where you can deal with any behavior that isn't very friendly to the friend and also that shows that you don't hate her etc etc it is HER and HER ALONE that is responsible for how negatively she is carrying on. It sounds like mom spends money instead of addressing the problems underneath and if you are very concerned then maybe you could seek some professional help for her/your family.
She usually has this one girl that is a few years younger than her sleepover at our house and I do watch and kindly correct her when she's being rude, but she's just gives me an annoying look.
