DD got a presciption for her skin which flairs up sometimes. She used it for about three months and had great results then she stopped using it for three months. When she started using it again she had a reaction to it and now she can't use it.

Right now DD is using aveeno facial wash.

So my question is what have others used that is OTC and effective?

Thanks,

Kelly

Jordyn has been using the Nuetrogena Foaming Acne Wash (I think that's what it's called) and then she follows up with a stridex pad.

ProActiv worked wonders on my skin. Now my teenaged brother uses and gets great results as well!

See now Emily has been using Proactive for a good 6 months now and there hasn't been a big difference so I stopped it, it costs to much if there isn't a change.

We are now trying Neutrogena acne wash

It didn't work for my sister either. She uses Murad https://www.acnecomplex.com/

When Kristen used OTC medicines, she did use the Neutrogena wash for a while.

While I never had an issue with acne as a teen other than a rogue pimple here and there, it really hit me when I got pregnant and stayed with me until I finally went to a dermatologist.

ODD, who's 11 has been using ProActiv since March & her skin still isn't great. It's improved, but not enough that I would sing praises for ProActiv. We've tried all the "washes" out there & finally broke down & bought ProActiv. I really don't want to get a script for medication, that's scary at her age.
