Hi, ladies!

Anyone have an idea of what 10-year-old girls like to do?

you could have a dress up tea party at home........thats simple and fun
then maybe offer to paint nails, or do the hair thing... there are craft boxes that you can do such as decorate a bracelet or color a box...lots of those around...
how about just watch a movie at home with them making their own ice cream sundae. maybe these offer some ideas.... good luck and let us know.

I think the pizza ice cream and dvd sounds good. The nail thang does as well or maybe scrapbooking if you know anyone into it the girls could all bring a special photo to do and thats a very personal thing to do. DD knows her friends better than us "boring adults" lol so I just wondered if you thought of asking her if she likes any of these ideas? I so stress about my kids parties and my DH laughs at me and keeps reminding me that at this age it's still just so cool to be invited what goes on in the form of entertainment is the bonus.

We've done a sleepover (without the sleeping)...where we do like a spa theme.

Thanks!

Your DH may have a point there...I never thought to look @ it that way!

I'm thinking a pizza party may be the way to go, too, now that you mention it.

Enchanted is a great movie for girls this age.My soon to be 12 yr old liked it a lot.Bonnie Bell also makes lip glass and it is cheaper to get it at Target or Walmart as opposed to Libby Lu or Limited Too.Pizza is usally the way to go,so there is not a lot of work on your part.At Gabby's parties I always did some type of craft one year we mase little totes with puffy paint. The scarp book page is also a good idea. Are you doing the sleep over?I ry to limit Gab's parties to 10.However,this year I think it will be less, maybe only 2 girls and we will go to a movie or something.Gab's parties have always been all girls,it was just easier that way and that kept the # down.

Laura,

You just reminded me of something DH & Sherina did the weekend back in January when I had to go to New Orleans for my cousin's baby shower:

DH took Sherina, his 11-year-old niece, and our 2 neighbors (girls aged 9 & 12) to Mobile!
