DYK Thread for August

**For those uncertain to what a DYK thread is......**

DYK stands for Did You Know or Do You Know

It is simply a chit chat thread where every thought is written in sentences and each sentences starts with the initials DYK---it is fun, entertaining and a great way to meet the board members

after the last 3-4 weeks of crying, screaming, and nursing issues, believe me, any little bit of quiet when she's awake and not nursing is good!

I am so sorry you had such a rough time yesterday at the hospital.Maybe when you do it on a daily basis you learn to compartmentalize(lack of a better word)and learn not to take the bad stuff so personaily.I too wonder how people can be around so much pain and suffering daily and not crack up.I a sure they will teach you coping mechanism at school.Plus I am sure Michael can help.I think I would have the worst time with the kids who came in.(((HUGS)))))

Good Evening! I bought my backup drive for my laptop today! Hopefully that will take care of any future problems I have.

I had a long night and day with Nicole. Her first "cold" I guess. She is all congested and sneezing and coughing.

Well, I took the prescription Motrin that Michael brought home

It's like a horse pill

I also ate asparagus-wrapped chicken and wild rice for dinner just now

I'm feeling my headache slowly fade

Michael told me that Motrin (and Advil) should always be taken with food

Not only does it absorb faster into your system, but it is also irritating to the stomach, and so food protects your stomach

Thought I'd pass on the medical tip
