DYK Thread for August

**For those uncertain to what a DYK thread is......**

DYK stands for Did You Know or Do You Know

It is simply a chit chat thread where every thought is written in sentences and each sentences starts with the initials DYK---it is fun, entertaining and a great way to meet the board members

we paid $32 for our yearbook last year.

I'm not sure about all the sports' fees, but I do know that football is $100, plus a fundraiser.

Cheerleader is more than $1000.

Aly's in band, and that fee is $35 this year (went up $10).

Each club has its own amount of fees. We haven't even met to discuss it yet this year for Beta. Aly won't be in 4-H, but will be in Library Club & Science Club along with Beta. There's no charge for FCS, that's free for ALL students who want to attend.

Cheerleading can get VERY expensive! Especially when you get into competitions!

that price is just the annual stuff--camp, uniforms, etc. When they go to Disney or perform in local competitions (which get them to Disney), they still have to pay for that completely separate!

I know....its crazy! If Kass decides to cheer this year we'll be paying for it since this schools team is a competitive team. She's on the fence about it, shes been doin it for five yrs now. She told me today though she wants to
