DYK Thread for August

**For those uncertain to what a DYK thread is......**

DYK stands for Did You Know or Do You Know

It is simply a chit chat thread where every thought is written in sentences and each sentences starts with the initials DYK---it is fun, entertaining and a great way to meet the board members

DH came home unannounced at 5:30ish, yacked on his phone to who knows who for 30 minutes, played with Emma for 20 minutes, held Madison for me for like 5 minutes, slept for an hour and took off with DSS to who knows where, and he wonders why the he$$ I'm aggravated with him. So much for spending the weekend as a family doing stuff.

I should know better by now. Since he only sees his son a few weeks a year the whole world revolves around him for the entire time he's here and the rest of us just get forgotten about. It happens everytime.

Of course if I actually got to eat dinner or maybe if I got an hour once in a while o leave the house without kids, maybe I wouldn't be so grouchy.

Remind me again why I wanted more kids??

I was explaining the breakdown of the cheerleader fee, which is excessively huge...especially for where I work. Thank goodness Aly is not interested, between the cost, the cattiness, and the commitment (since it's out of town for me), I'd scream!

Thanks, I appreciate it. I just need to learn to deal with it. Its going to always be this way and so there isn't much I can do about it other than plan for it each visit.

I just put Emma down to sleep, I'm going to try and get Madison down to sleep also and go to bed myself.

I have to say, I have no idea --- why would anyone want a 14-year old, a toddler, and a new baby, particularly with a DH who's never home and still in school?
