DYK Thread for August

**For those uncertain to what a DYK thread is......**

DYK stands for Did You Know or Do You Know

It is simply a chit chat thread where every thought is written in sentences and each sentences starts with the initials DYK---it is fun, entertaining and a great way to meet the board members

That's not odd, thats just connecting with a student on their level. You bond with kids in whatever way works. I bet Gabby loved that teachers class!

Thanks Michelle!

Kassidy was all about cheerleading until this year too! She has cheered for little league and school for the past five years.

Oh golly if we are going to be graded on our writing skills I'm afraid I'll have to go back into hiding. I don't think it really matters as long as we can get our point across. Although I could be wrong. :-)

DYK Tonight we had a pool party after cheer practice. It was tons of fun to see the girls on a different level....lots of fun, laughing, and splashing.

Hey Amy, I'll give you a quick rundown!

I am Christi....and I live in Illinois with my DH of (almost!) 16 years. We have a dd, Alexis, who is 13 and entering 8th grade. She is a cheerleader, dancer, excellent student, etc. Caleb is our 10 year old son who is entering 5th grade. He is my baby and it shows. :-) he is the opposite of his sister and doesn't want to be involved in many extra carriculars no matter how many we seem to try and encourage. He is his own self and that's just fine!

Hope that helps!
