DYK Thread for August

**For those uncertain to what a DYK thread is......**

DYK stands for Did You Know or Do You Know

It is simply a chit chat thread where every thought is written in sentences and each sentences starts with the initials DYK---it is fun, entertaining and a great way to meet the board members

DYK - I cleaned house this morning, basically finding places for the clutter...I hate clutter, it drives me batty!

Me and the girls spent the afternoon at my parents. Kass ended up staying the night with them.

This evening, we went out to dinner with Mike's parents and his sister.

We had a very long day....and I didn't get to clean my house, so my plans for a duty-free Sunday will not come to be. I have a few things left to do for school that I wanted to do, too. But we spent some time at my SIL's and we haven't done that in over a month.

I do have 2 brags on my 2 nephews...one some of you may have seen on my FB page. One nephew got his welding certification--he can't work yet since he's still 17, but when he finishes school (hopefully in May) he'll be able to work right out of high school. My other nephew just got E-5/Sergeant in the National Guard. He was the one in Iraq until earlier this year and will be going back next year.

Our teachers don't like it either, but as a parent it is awesome!
