DYK Thread for August
**For those uncertain to what a DYK thread is......**
DYK stands for Did You Know or Do You Know
It is simply a chit chat thread where every thought is written in sentences and each sentences starts with the initials DYK---it is fun, entertaining and a great way to meet the board members

Not sure how it is for teachers and tech people to use. However as a parent I find ed-line pretty easy to navaigate.I even think our elem schools are using it this year.

Thank you Laura and Christi for your thoughts!!!!
I will tell you, socially Kass is doing great.
Yeah, the tech go-to girl does not have Internet access in her classroom!!!
I logged in first thing this am, and had Internet/e-mail, etc. Then it went away. Then I restarted computer and had it again, then it went away again, and it never came back up (restarting several times, and trying every port in my classroom, though only two that I know of actually work anyway). In fact, for a little while, I didn't even have access to a computer because our school computers require us to log-in to the network just to get to the computer, and it wouldn't let me do that for a while.
Our in-school tech coordinator wasn't at school today. But this job is too big for her to do. Several library computers were down and the classroom across the hall--the 3 student computers were down, but the 2 teacher computers (2 teachers share the room) both worked. So, I think a circuit was down, and it happened to be the circuit that my computers are on.
I had a frustrated day at work, but it's over, so now I get to relax while I work on my after-school work.
Running around after work is extremely draining (at least I rarely have to do that). I hope your mom and dad are doing better.
I don't think it's shallow to shop for back to school clothes and never said that.
You're very welcome, Ang :)
Poor Kass!
I'm sure she'll adjust, but it's rough, it's such a change
I'm worried about Matthew starting middle school in a few weeks
I'm glad Kassidy is doing well socially!
