DYK Thread for August

**For those uncertain to what a DYK thread is......**

DYK stands for Did You Know or Do You Know

It is simply a chit chat thread where every thought is written in sentences and each sentences starts with the initials DYK---it is fun, entertaining and a great way to meet the board members

I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to jump in here and defend my friends. Your comment about Sofia reminding you of Teresa of "The Real Housewives" came across as negative to me too. It made it sound like she is some spoiled housewife that shops all the time, and that is not Sofia at all.

I haven't said much in the past about your posts, but I agree with what Laura has said in the past, as well as Sofia and Michelle.

Now, have you even seen the show or are you guessing about Teresa too?

And have you even met or talked to Sofia IRL or do you just "know" her from the boards?

I love it when our stalker posts about how fabulous her fake life is, and how wonderful her fake children and husband are. It must be so nice for her to be so adored in her own little fantasy land. Apparently she has some deep seeded jealousy of Sofia since ever reincarnation of her character she takes, she makes a special point of attacking her.

You know, I feel the need to "chime in" myself. Just because you dont know someone in person doesnt mean you dont know them at all.

yes, I have watched the show. And my whole point was that no matter how you meant it, it sounded rude and not complimentary.

No I have not met Sofia IRL, but I have known her on the boards for over a year and talk to her through email as well, not just on the boards.

I do not just parrot other's opinions. I usually stay out of conversations that do not concern me, but it really bothers me how rude you have been to people on this board.

Thank you, I have seen some of the episodes of the show so I do know who you are talking about. I just wonder why you say theres no negativity on your part, when you come on here bashing about a teacher who comments on kids shoes...WTH..it makes all

I was getting the sugar canister (very heavy ceramic canister) out of the pantry earlier, and it slipped and hit me on the head.

My arms were blocking it some, but it still left a huge knot near my right temple.

Dh was in a bad mood earlier, and didn't say a word when I told him about it.

Now however, he is worried. He has me sleeping propped up on the couch since it hurts more to lay down.

The girls are sleeping on the living room floor, so if I start to get dizzy or nauseous I am supposed to wake Abby up to get him for me.

It happened about 6 hours ago, so I think I'll be fine.
