I went Thursday and got all the clothes and supplies bought for ds. They are having sales tax free weekend here in Georgia and since it started Thursday thought I had better go get what I could before it was picked over. Zachary is in 14 regular jeans we found some at $8 a pair! Got him 4 polo shirts at $4 a piece and socks and underwear as well. Zachary found some nice leather sneakers for $10 and Timothy got his at the same price but his zip up instead of tie. I got Timothy a new shirt and a pair of jeans most of his stuff from last yr still fit. Supplies I got paper for 36 cents for 150 sheets (8 packs) and Timothy got a red trapper keeper for $9 colored pencils for 81 cents a pack Zachary had to have two, dry erase markers and they already had pencils. Folders were on sale for 10 cents a piece if you bought more than 10 and also Zachary got some stuff for his locker. He decided not to carry a small book bag as it would take up alot of space in his locker but will see how it goes and get him one later if needed. I got their hair cut today and Timothy has Open House next Thursday from 1- 3:30 and Zachary has 6th grade orientation at 6:30 the same day. SO now we are all set and I am glad because with the tax free holiday this weekend it is going to be awful with the traffic the last time they did this it was like the day after Thanksgiving at the stores.

I just love the high from a successful, cheap shopping trip! Glad you were so successful *and* avoided the crowds.

Oh my, school supplies already. YIKES. We don't start school until Sept 3 and I actually thought that was too early, LOL. Of course, our school didn't end until June 20th.

I haven't even begun to think about supplies. I probably should too since as soon as we get back from vacation I will have to shop since school starts right after we get home.

You do sound like you got great bargins.
