Weekend was okay. Kristen was home for a whole 24 hours (12 of which she spent sleeping LOL - not much sleep last week). She's gone to her Dad's until Wed.
Today nothing too exciting at work. I have to write a recommendation letter for my co-op student for law school so I better get my butt in gear since its her last week. Tonight I want to stop by Ikea (the parking lot was insane on the weekend so I avoided it) and I need to stop by the cell phone store because the battery in Kristen's phone is not working. Clean up my kitchen at home, do a little ironing, just the usual tasks.
Let the stress begin! HAH!!! I sat down last night with my calendar, all the kids activities schedules and my schedule..WHEW!!! I had to get a planner to carry in my purse because things are actually getting hairy all ready! I have a list of TO DO's to get done today, Mackenzie gets her braces wednesday morning and she lost two spacers so she'll probably need to get those replaced today.
I still have no children in my house so I should be able to actually accomplish something!! LOL
I need to finish the dresser drawers in Nikki and Emilee's room. Then put my folded laundry away. Continue washing laundry (which is an ongoing project in itself). Change bedding. Steam clean Nikki and Emilee's carpet. Go through Abby's drawers. To the office to get some work done - once again, while no one is here to disturb me. Need to find time to make a grocery store run. With the kids coming back, they need to eat something, right? Clean up in my bedroom. Wash the kitchen and both bathroom floors. Vacuum.
I'm sure there are other things, but I guess that is a good start. Good luck to all of you with your tasks for the day. My girls go back to school on Wednesday. They are so excited!!!!
Good afternoon its Jackies first day of school. So we started off a little slow. Not very excited. I know lots of kids started today. So I just wanted to stop in and say hello. We are both doing okay, finally got some things done. But still not happy with others. We had a great time on our trip. All and all is well, we are just trying to get back on our feet still but I will show up more as I can. Hope to see you all soon. Deanna
Glad to see you!!! Stop in when you can. Glad to here things are getting better.. Crazy here today so I have to go but wanted to say hi and glad to see you!
Today was "Meet and Greet" at the kid's schools. Went to the middle school, fought for parking, met Evan's teacher, fought the crowds at PTO sign up and check drop off (yearbook, membership, etc.). Went to Megan's school, fought for parking, met her teacher, visited the kids' old teachers, went to exchange a bike lock that didn't work, took the kids to lunch, did a little around the house. Now we're headed out to the swim team season kick-off party and then I have to go to interview youth choir directors for church. Megan's coming along as we're having the two candidates direct a small kids choir as part of the process.
