good morning everyone.
Its nice to see everyone today.
Thought I would just check in and say hello.
Things are going okay with me and Jackie. Still a little rocky. Things are busy busy though. We are planing to head out on a road trip to Washington DC this next week. So we are busy getting ready for a late vacation and looking forward to spending some much needed quality time together. School starts on the 27th for us, but we are ready now. Hope everyone here is doing okay. (Too many people to single out so I will opt for a general one) Sorry I have been MIA, long story but I will pop in more as time allows. I just had a quick minute or two. Take care. I will talk to you later.

Morning. Not sure what we will do today. Kristen is leaning towards nothing but I wanted to go to Ikea and the shoe store. So we'll see. Tonight I have to drive her out to her Dad's. I'm doing some tidying, have to get her to try on her jeans so I can hem them up, but no big plans.

Good morning. Forgot to set the alarm, woke up about 10 minutes before I needed to leave. GOt up and around, plopped Emma in her carseat and off to the sitter's we went. Got there, poor thing had wet through her diaper, her onsie was wet and she hadn't eaten since 2 a.m. Boy she was not happy with me and I felt bad dropping her off at the sitter's like that. Jordyn has practice til noon, then they have a pool party til 2:30. I have to pick her and 2 other teammates up, then we are doing a few errands. Once I drop them at the house I need to run by the library to pick up a book on hold, pick up Emma and head home. I am not sure how long the girls are staying, so I will make a dinner decision once i know if they are staying or not.

That's it for us, have a great day. Tracy

Good morning! I'm playing mean mommy today! I don't work until this afternoon so I'm cracking the proverbial whip this morning...My son has to run three miles (he does cross country, hasn't run all summer and the season starts monday) and my daughter has to run one mile. They also have to do one hour EACH of educational software on the computer before they return to 'slug mode' for the rest of the day! HAHA!!!

Dinner last night was amazing, everything turned out perfectly! I'll have to look online and post that dessert I made, it was so easy and so good!

Hey there!

I'm at work (of course) until 4:30 then I'm heading into the city to the Dawgs store. Yes. I never thought I would ever own a pair of the ugliest shoes in the world. My boss came and told me that my chinese slippers (the most comfortable shoes in the world) are driving everyone downstairs crazy because they are too clickety and too loud. So I whipped home and looked for quiet shoes. I spotted my son's Dawgs. His ugly ugly dawgs. i put them on. I felt......comfort!....I walked around....I heard......nothing!

I'm caving in. Going to buy Dawgs. Ugh.

That's my day ladies. What's happening in your world?

Pretty laid back day here. Maybe a trip to the beach this afternoon. Have to interview a candidate for a music position at church tonight. Dh is back - this is good and bad at the same time. He's trying hard to keep things clean (I worked like a dog to get it that way last week) but just keeps leaving things all over and the kitchen just isn't the same when he's on KP. Oh yeah... my MIL called this morning to INFORM us that they are coming from Florida to vist for a while before school starts... Ummmmm hello!!! how about some notice and how about a "would it be okay if..." Evan is still at camp next week, the week after is the only week the 4 of us have as a family before school starts, and I've spent the last 3 weeks painting and cleaning the top two floors of the house. I was hoping to be able to work on the lowest level (family room and laundry) at a more leisurely pace. Can't do that if they come because they would stay in the family room. They're nice house guests but I don't have the energy to muck out two more rooms and have the carpet cleaners back before school starts! Dh feels the same way so I'm going to leave it to him to deal with her. Meanwhile, I'll try to do my best not to get mad about it.

Hi everyone,

Have not had a chance to post until just now. I have been cleaning all day because a realtor showed the house this afternoon to a woman who her and her husband had came out last week and looked at the outside and the area. I talked to our realtor after that and she said that she wouldn't have minded if I would have went ahead and shown them the house. Why didn't she say so? With the houseing market the way it is, I feel fortuante that she actually made an appt to see the inside. The shwoing went really well. They have 4 kids, so they need this big of a place. They are going to make another appt for the weekend so her husband can see it. Wish us luck on getting an offer!

In addition to the housecleaning, I had 4 day care kids today: 4 mo, 2.5 yo, 5 yo & 7 yo. Fun, fun.

Not anything else going on here today. I wanted chicken tacos for dinner tonight, but DH ate Mexican for lunch...ahhh well, we'll come up with something...
