Our house works like that too Michelle. I told Jordyn last night she had to empty the dishwasher this morning before she left for school and she said "but, I just emptied it last night (saturday), why is it full again!" I said because all of us have been home all weekend and so we used a ton of dishes, gosh, don't argue with me. I hate it too, but not much you can do.
No joke Tracy I feel like pulling my hair out sometimes. Dh will nag Phillip on everything and the attitude has made it worse. But I feel like Phillip learned it from DH so they but heard so much.
DH is the type that when I say it, it is to be done NOW. I'm more of a leisurely, I want you to get it done this afternoon, or today sometime, but like with the dishes, I am at a standstill til you do it. She normally doesn't get an attitude with me, but she was carzy busy this past week and hadn't done any of her chores so she spent a large amount of the weekend doing chores and I think was just plain sick of them. Can't blame her for that one though.
The schools are always asking me if I want to work for the rest of the year as a sub. No way - I like to work a week or 2, take off a few weeks or a month and so on. I would go looney if I worked full time.
As for the job - I gave up the money. It was sooooo worth it. Could you work for the school district? that's what I do if I wanta make some quick cash. I want hard wood floors in our bedroom. DH says, I can think of other things to spend the money on.
afternoon all - i worked at the preschool this morning. I only worked until 12:30. I'm so happy I'm only working 8-12:30 this week. That way I can come and post with you guys and get some stuff done around here. I do not know how mom's can work a full time job and take care of the home, kids, husband. I guess I've just gotten spoiled not working full time. Last time I worked full time Hannah was in Preschool.
Tonight I'm going to run on the treadmill and take a body pump class. Oh, and for dinner I'm making some Rachael ray dish. Hope it tastes good.
I had a pretty nice day. I went to a Weight Watcher's meeting for myself. Then I worked a Weight Watcher's meeting at lunch time. I was pleased that I managed to lose 7 of the 10 pounds I put on from being sick and having to take steroids. (a bad allergic reaction, had to go to the ER, sigh, no Noah Wylie or George Clooney, not even a Luka.) the usual supermarket and errands, and now making sure my son gets his homework done. If he cooperates and gets it done, I may go to the gym.
