Breakfast anyone?

Our kids are always eating on the go it seems and so breakfast has to be somewhat transportable - We're tired of our normal breakfast fare and wondering what everyone else does?

we eat what you all eat....but I just recently started boiling eggs the night before, so that we can have a boiled egg (even on the go).

Also, another mom from another board suggested little "quiches"

love the quiches idea - our kids are quiche fanatics and you can buy mini crusts at the store....hmmmmm might just have to go stock up!

Sometimes eating non-breakfast foods can be a fun alternative! How about a frozen pizza thrown in the oven while they're getting dressed that can be sliced and taken with you? Cheese pizza shouldn't be 'overkill' on the tastebuds! HAHA!!!!

I like the boiled eggs idea too...pair them up with an apple or other piece of fruit.

Instant oatmeal in a paper cup?

You mean you can get your child to eat breakfast? LOL Mine is so not a breakfast eater, so I am thankful that they have lunch 2 hours after arriving at school.

But when I can get her to eat, the choices are as follows:

toast and butter (she doesn't like anything on it)
cereal
instant oatmeal
grilled cheese
toast with scrambled egg
a bagel with cheese whiz then put it under the broiler to get all melty
fresh fruit

And that's about it really. She doesn't like much else and doesn't really like things like pop tarts or granola bars for breakfast.

My kid is a very picky eater......he'll eat either; toast, waffle or a poptart.

Mine aren't huge breakfast eaters either, but they all leave fairly early (DS has a early morning religion class that starts at 6:15 am) and girls leave at 7 - none of them have lunch until at least noon or later. So I'm trying to find some "new stuff"!
