The middle school bus was supposed to come by our house this morning but since the driver forgot to check his list he didn`t come down our street at all. I had to take Zachary to school and find out what happened. There was a girl that rode last yr but since she is in high school now apparently they forgot to let the driver know that there were new kids added to his route that were starting middle school this yr. SO hopefully that is straightened out now. I hope he has a good day he was very excited to be going to middle school this morning I didn`t even have to wake him up he was up and dressed before the alarm went off!

Hope the school and the bus driver have things worked out! We do not start school until Sept. 2nd and my kids do not ride a bus. Bus service is not offered to families who live "in town"; the kids have to walk or parents drive them. Since we live in a school of choice district, most in town parents drive their kids.

Do you have any big plans for that infamous "first week of kids in school"? Here, there are usually groups of parents who do breakfast and/or lunch and/or shopping ... etc. The second week of school we get serious and start cleaning bedrooms and closets.

Hope the first day was great!

Wow, I'm impressed that he beat the alarm!! I have a feeling I'm going to need a crowbar to pry Sean out of bed for the first (and subsequent) day(s) of school LOL. Sorry about the bus problems, though hopefully that will be the last of that one.

Hoping for good school days for all our young'uns.

Best Always,

Sherrie
