I am curious to know what kind of job everyone has. Do you work outside of the home? Do you work part time or full time? Do you like your job? How long have you been doing your job?
I will tell you about myself...I am a part-time RN, I usually work 2-3 evenings a week. I work with babies and sometimes older kids.
I like my job, but it can be emotionally draining...and physically draining as well. I have been a nurse for 18 years now. I like my flexible schedule. I like helping the patients and their families...but sometimes I find it stressful.
BTW: I'm not trying to start the debate of "what's better": working outside the home or being a SAHM. I know all of us work, because we have kids!! :) I am just wondering what careers we all have.

I work full time for the Social Security Administration. I really like my job and the pay's great, but if money wasn't an issue, I'd love to be an interior decorator or a realtor. I don't know if I'd be any good at it--but I'd love to try!
I stayed home with Abbie when she was little, but I really couldn't stand it once she went to 1st grade and was gone all day long. I was climbing the walls. I also wouldn't trade that time I had with her for anything, but I will admit that it was difficult to re enter the workforce.
I started off as a Medical Technologist in a city hospital, then I
I am a nurse (LVN or LPN depending where you are)
I see the picture of Tyler
I think we discussed our son's hair length earlier in the summer
Chris has longish hair too
He just got 1.5 inches cut off this afternoon
Maybe 2 inches.
I don't say he needs a haircut...I say he needs it *dethatched* LOL!
LOL Tyler's hair is even longer now!!
Hi. I know, full time work as a nurse is too much when you have kids. I used to work nights for 7 years. Now I work evenings so I can sleep at night! I am in a new NICU, we do deliveries right down the hall, but lately we've been slow, for about 3 months now! It's good for parents not to have sick kids in the hospital, but it's not good for us per diem nurses! So, I'm picking up hours in the PICU. It's more sad to me than NICU. I guess it just depends on what you're used to. Our PICU handles a lot of neuro pts.
Anyway, hope you can cut back your hours soon!
