One more question...I'm picking all of your brains today!

Ryan is in cross-country and he in the fall he gets asthma from seasonal allergies.

Not exactly a million dollar idea, but what about a fanny pack?

What I would do is make a small cloth bag and put it on a lanyard or string around his neck. He could tuck it inside his T-shirt so it won't bounce around too much and then its right there if he needs it. You can sometimes find drawstring cell phone cases, one of our shoe stores had them of all things and an inhaler might fit inside and then tuck it in his shirt.

My son also has an inhaler and a couple of years ago we bought a holder that kind of wraps around the inhaler and then has a clip that you can hook to your shorts/pants. I think we got it at CVS.

Does he have an allergist he sees on a regular basis? If so, they might be able to connect you with a web site or catalog. If not, try his doctor. Someone else suggested a pharmacy, that sounds like a great local place to start. My son (starting 5th grade) also has an inhaler and I remember his allergist giving us a catalog full of asthma related gadgets and supplies about 3 years ago. I wish I could remember the name of the company. It started with allergy and asthma but I don't remember any more than that. Sorry!

How about some sort of velcro srtip around his arm? I;m thinking along the lines of an
i-pod holder. We don;t have one, but I;ve seen ladies wearing them at curves.

That Puffapouch is cool. I might look into getting Nathan one. My son doesn't use his inhaler very much and isn't into sports so much so he just keeps his in his desk at school. I carry one in my purse, however, I'm thinking he's getting old enough to start taking a little more responsibility with it.

This is what we had. It has a hook you can hook on pants.

http://www.cvs.com type inhaler in the search and it is the first one that comes up.
(I tried to put the direct link here but it was really long and messed up the message!)

I might just get him one from CVS because I need it right away, since CC already started...no shipping expense either!
