Morning all!

On the agenda today: Get the kids off to school drama free (I hope), work out, more laundry, practice piano (double time today because I didn't yesterday), swim practice for both kids, church tonight. Maybe some Easter shopping.

I'm not ready for Easter at all. I have a few things for Megan and NOTHING for Evan. He used some money of his own to buy a set of 10 Tek Deks so I'm not adding to that, my mom is putting an itunes gift card and a book in his basket so those two things are out. Not sure what I'll do... :( Need a container of some sort and filler for both kids. I'm contemplating being green and using paper from our shredder. I've been putting off buying any Easter stuff until the kids swim fees for the current season are deducted from the bank account so I know what I've got to work with. We've got a little $ coming in (check from dh's retirement acct., replacement gift card, etc.) but it won't hit until early next week so I'm trying not to spend much. We got a free meal last night (Passover at a friend's house, another at church tonight, and another at my parents on Sunday so food costs will be down for a few days. :)

Have a great day everyone!

Daycare til six, then out to Mom's (30 miles) to pick up the end of my brother's furniture. THat will leave just painting and steaming the carpet, and then Grandma can use the room when she is ready. My brother, 15, passed away suddenly in January. I have been cleaning out his room so Mom doesn't have to.

The DC mom is going with me, as she has a truck. Long day. LOL.

My kids are still on Spring Break. My oldest has gone to youth conference with the church, so I have my youngest four, and the three daycare kids to entertain today. Luckily I have a three day weekend. Yippee.

No, I am not ready for Easter at all. I still haven't nailed down the menu for when we go to the park as a family on Saturday. I have not bought one thing for the kids baskets. We are going to friend's house on Sunday after church for Easter dinner. I should get something for their three girls as an Easter gift. They are also my DC kids, and I have them on average 65-70 hours a week. I joked we had shared custody, but the dad was not amused. LOL.

Today-

There was a facebook post from one of the Children's ministry directors at church about needing help stuffing Easter Eggs for the kids' program on Sunday.

Cheryl stuffing Easter eggs sounds like a good way to recover from math burn out.
