Alright ladies, I know its a bit early for some, but there are officially 48 days til Christmas. I know, shocker right! Has anyone started thinking of gifts, I know a few have, what are on your kids' wish lists this year?? Or, what are you thinking of getting them?

I have ordered a few for Katie since most of hers are coming from the UK. She will be getting a Union Jack flag for her room, a pendent that is a Union Jack and a shirt as well. She is also getting a TW calendar. A few more things for her and I am done. I should have a chat with Ashmom (Jean). See if she can help me. I have some stocking stuffers already for the kids and a bottle of body spray for Nat that she wanted. Nothing for Matthew so far since his birthday is next week. I will start on him and Tim after Thanksgiving. The girls are pretty easy this year. Oh! Katie wants some Taylor Swift perfume. It does smell good.
For his stocking I bought him the RED cd, Itunes gfit card, a Star Trek wallet made out of comic books, some Civil War army men ( he and friends set up historical battle plans), a book, and bookmark, ds Spongebob game, and will pick up the LOTR Lego Wii game when released. I found LOTR Monopoly on Ebay in great condition. I also bought some more books, and 2 LOTR Lego sets, the Lego Mindstorm kit, Lego Sopwith Camel, the Lego Korea architecture set, a Garfield day by day calendar, and a Chicago softball. No wish list this year, just winging it. I had alot of fun and think he'll be happy and surprised.
I've got most of the kids' presents already, and have the rest planned out.
Kayleigh's getting luggage, German for Dummies, an AP Chem prep book, an assortment of Tazo teas, a couple of shirts, a modular origami how-to kit and an assortment of papers, Apples To Apples game, a funky pillow for her to take to college and a gift card to the hair salon.
Ian's getting a new watch, a wireless mouse, gift cards to Dunkin, to Journeys and to Michaels, an exotic car magazine, a jigsaw puzzle and a scene it game.

Jordyn emailed me her christmas list today. Most of it is getting sent out to the relatives for fullfillment. On her list is a pair of rainboots, 2 other pairs of boots, she opted for the Skull candy headphones instead of the Dr. Dre Beats ones, a bunch of new watercolor paints and a pair of workout pants/leggins, and a new mouse for her Mac.
Now, what i have actually gotten or intend on getting her, we bought her a new Mac Book to go to college, so christmas is going to be pretty light this year. I have to order her a new photo software for her Mac, I just need to find out which one is best for her. I've bought her brand new paint brushes and a carrying case, so I will purchase a groupon and go get her the water colors she wants to go along with it and I bought a set of 12 designed Nail wraps. I have left on my list to get her a jar of maple butter, a "I still call it Home" (Michigan) t-shirt, an itunes/starbucks gift card, possibly the 72 set of prisma color pencils, and possible an oregon t-shirt or sock monkey, but I still hesitate to buy her any college specific stuff quite yet.
Still working on the little girls. I am struggling with the small age difference in them, Emma is the middle one and I know she feels left out a lot and feels like she doesn't have anything of "her own" because Madison ends up using just about all of her toys. I hate always buying 2 of everything just in different colors or designs, but they are interested in a lot of the same stuff.
Becca would have bought Red. But- she's spent almost all of the money on iTunes on "stuff", including a ton of songs from One Directon (obsessed with them LOL). Which got Kristen ticked b/c they had a joint acct and Becca used up almost all of the money and there was something she wanted for school. That she's playing in a concert.
So mom went and got Kristen an iTunes card, and we set up an account on her laptop. They've had a joint account on my name forever. I wish I'd done that years ago. But Becca was only in 4th grade when she got the Nano I have now, and there was no way I was letting her have an iTunes account that "I" had to put a credit card number on that I couldn't monitor.
They'll probably ask for iTunes cards for Christmas

My niece who is 8 had (or has) one of the leapster toys. Can't remember which one she had. She's had it for a couple of years now, and was still playing with it when she came here in June. Not sure how much longer she'll play with it. I know we've got to come up with presents soon. We got her a game for it last year, I have a feeling she's going to want an Aeropostle card just like her 12 year old sister is going to get.
You'd probably get a couple of years out of the Leap Pad. And they'd leave your iPad alone :)
I have a really, really old Nano. Hey- the kids didn't want it and it still works. It doesn't do anything, no internet or anything, but I have a better smartphone than the girls do :)
