Aly's favorite games (to watch her dad play..lol) are the racing games. They've got Diddy Kong Racing, Mickey's Speedway, and Lego Racers. They have a few more games, but that's all they play. Thankfully, the games were all less than $10! Some as cheap as $2! ;o) Actually, I think Mickey's Speedway was $15.

Forgot to mention--the biggest reason I ok'ed the NDS purchase was so that she could use it in the car since we like to travel.
She doesn't like to use it in the car because it's hard to see. So, she has to put a blanket on her head to see it, then she gets fussed at for messing up her hair...lol.
Oh, well...

DS has that handheld nintendo one with the touch screen, ps2, gamecube and the wii. For him it was a great way to connect with other kids when he had trouble knowing how to make and keep friends. He mostly just plays it on weekends. I worried at first but I noticed when we limit stuff it makes him want it more. As long as homework is done he can play whatever he wants, but now he self limits.
I used to love playing mario party with him, it was a fun game for the two of us to just do together.
My 5th grade dd has never really liked video games at all. She'll occasionally play, but it doesn't hold her interest.
LOL...Aly, too. She looks up cheats!
