For once I am full of good news!!! I'm not sure where to start so I'll just do a stream of consciousness thing. :) First, yesterday Evan needed to partner up with someone in language arts. He actually went up to another very smart boy with whom he has not always had a great relationship and said, "Hey, I know we haven't always gotten along but we're both smart and if we put our differences aside, we could do really well on this." They are working together and when I saw the boy yesterday while volunteering at school, he said things were going well. Item #2: Evan had an orchestra concert last night and the group sounded really good! The music was fun, precise, in tune, and quite enjoyable. I saw the mom of the kid Evan is working with and she told me the same story and used the same words. Kudos to both of them for putting their differences aside and working well together. Item #3: This is the BEST. My aunt has a brain tumor and got MRI results yesterday. The tumor has not grown in size at all since she stopped radiation and chemo several weeks ago. They had expected it to double in size. The drs didn't want to give them a time frame but when pressed, said average life expectancy for someone in her condition is 1 - 2 years!!! This is huge because initially they had been told 6 - 7 months. Her time here has doubled!!!! :) Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers for her!!!
Have a fabulous day everyone!!! Off to bake cupcakes and straighten up the house! :)

Oh wow! You are walking on sunshine, I can feel it! That is so AWESOME about your aunt. I am happy for you and your family.
ANd WTG Evan for being mature and making good decisions!! WOO HOO!! Mom you are doing a great job (obviously) in raising him!
That's fabulous news about your aunt! It's so nice to hear about medical miracles like that!
And kudos to your DS. You should take credit, too, Mom. You are obviously doing something right! Can you pass those "maturity" pills this way? ;)
