DS is going to make me old before my....

Welcome to my world! Kevin is always injured, it seems. 2 years ago, he took a nose dive at his friend's house while roller blading, and basically got road rash on one side of his face. When I went to pick him up, the mom was like "Oh, I tried calling you ..." ... but Kevin does stuff all the time that I don't even react any more. 2 weeks later, he flipped off DH's bike down the block and ended up with like 10-12 stitches in his lip. (He started 4th grade with a cast on his foot, broke 3 bones in his foot skim boarding while on vacation.) He's been stitched 3 times, broken his collar bone 3 times, broke his foot (3 bones) ... notice a pattern? We've also been to the emergency room for near-misses (sprains and strains) ... always waiting for the police to come knocking on my door! (DD, 7, has yet to see the inside of an emergency room ... not sure if she's more cautious or what, but Kevin's done enough for both of them.) Heck, even 2 weeks ago before his baseball game, he managed to tip off a ball in the batting cages and catch himself in the eye ... and went for a week with a beautiful shiner!

Hope he heals quickly.
