**For those uncertain to what a DYK thread is......**

DYK stands for Did You Know or Do You Know

It is simply a chit chat thread where every thought is written in sentences and each sentences starts with the initials DYK---it is fun, entertaining and a great way to meet the board members.

We went through something like that with the oil in the truck a few months back. I knew it needed to be changed and I told DH for 3 weekends straight and he kept telling me he would do it. I even offered to just take it to the oil change place one day on my lunch hour and he told me no, he would get to it. Well then he checked the oil and it was a quart low and I got the longest lecture about how that couldn't happen again, blah blah blah. I was so mad at him for pulling that on me when he told me over and over he would take care of it.

I hope he got air put in it and it doesn't go flat again.

So DH and I spent most of the day fighting about this and that, since I am the consummate "Debbie downer" and he was annoyed with my attitude. He's playing video games out in the living room at the moment while I am in the bedroom cleaning since I got a lecture about having "too much stuff", and of course not only is it my fault we have too much stuff, but its my fault that I don't have the stuff organized or don't have the time to keep it parred down.

And of course if I say I don't have enough hours in the day to work full time, take care of 3 kids, and keep the house clean and organized, I'm just making excuses...

I'm annoyed all around with him at the moment.

Hello all DH and i are going back and forth about giving the boy things to do and making him more responsible. As if its my job. Needless to say I did not see him all weekend, he was gone. This next week he will be gone again. Im starting to see that he will never be around.

Thanks Moss. I know I've not been in the best mood lately, well, actually for quite a while now. :-( I know this sounds completely stupid but I just still haven't adjusted to having both of the little girls yet, I never imagined I'd have two small ones so close in age and a DH who really isn't around a ton to help out at all and be working full time and everything. Its probably just an excuse, I need to just get over it, deal with things and just figure out how to make things more positive and pleasant around home. I just haven't figured out how to do that yet and I know I'm probably taking it out on everyone else a lot of times. (sigh). That's something I told myself I would work on more this year, I just need to work on it harder or make it more of a focus or something. I don't know...
