**For those uncertain to what a DYK thread is......**

DYK stands for Did You Know or Do You Know

It is simply a chit chat thread where every thought is written in sentences and each sentences starts with the initials DYK---it is fun, entertaining and a great way to meet the board members.

So the hair appt. groupon I bought last week doesn't have any openings on Friday (I really should have known), so I'll have to hold off til later in December when I have some time off to get that done. But, I did go ahead and schedule Jordyn's appt. for her to go in January. She doesn't go back to school til January 5th, and she already had a cavity appt. scheduled on the 3rd, so I went ahead and made the hair appt. after that since they aren't far from each other. She should be happy, but I really need a hair cut, so I need to figure out what my plan is for that on Friday now. But then I feel super stingy and hate to spend any money on it if things are going to get increasingly right closer to christmas. Ugh...

DYK the creepy manager guy at 7-11 gave me my Big Gulp for free today. I don't normally get a Big Gulp, but they were out of bottles of Mt. Dew, I asked him if he was really for sure and he said yes, I'm in there all the time, which i am, but I feel a bit weird about it, he creeps me out a bit, he's always really overly nice and asks me lots of questions when I am in there all the time and... I don't know...

Is there another 7-11 you can go to?

I suppose so, there are a few others. This one is the only one that is just a few blocks down from work, so I can walk if I want to instead of having to drive. I usually keep bottles at my desk now as its cheaper, but it was another thing on the grocery list that DH didn't get while he was out doing the shopping on Saturday. I really just need to give it up altogether... Though 7-11 actually has really good salads, so if I don't bring my lunch to work (and I don't care to eat in the cafeteria downstairs) that is my back up.
