**For those uncertain to what a DYK thread is......**

DYK stands for Did You Know or Do You Know

It is simply a chit chat thread where every thought is written in sentences and each sentences starts with the initials DYK---it is fun, entertaining and a great way to meet the board members.

DH had a service call this morning, and apparently the Internet people will be out today, our router or server or something is severely lagging and it's screwing up DH's video game, the poor thing... He went out to get oil change stuff to do jordyn's truck when she gets back from practice and I need to go back to ikea today, I accidentally picked up a full/queen coverlet insert for Madison yesterday instead of a twin. They had a nice chest that I could make into their dress up trunk that I'd like DH to look at also, I'm thinking maybe we can redo their room and incorporate it in, now that we have a better idea with the bunk beds and everything how they will use their room, I want to rearrange things, and possibly paint.

It is SO helpful when my kids keep up and do a couple of loads of their laundry a week.

We finally completed the living room, all that needs to be done is the fireplace surround soon. We are debating doing any kitchen work, whether we do any now or wait til we put new cabinets in. That was supposed to be done around chest as, but likely won't happen til spring now. I am going to knock out the hallway painting for sure soon, it's only a 1o foot long hallway, so I am thinking I'll knock that out thanksgiving weekend. Oh and our new bedroom French doors go in next week, so I'll need to do touch up work once it's done, so I need to decide if I want just to touch up, or do the entire room again.

After much yelling, tears and gnashing of teeth (LOL) I was really tired of the kids whining that "I have nothing to wear- wash this".

Jordyn knows how, and if she needs something bad enough, she will do it on her own, but that's rare.

I showed DH the trampoline I want to get the girls from my patents. It went down in price by $40 from the last time I looked at it!! He's not thrilled with the idea, I can tell, but the kids would love it and it's perfect for them, unless he can find me a nice swing set for them to grow into for that price or an outdoor playhouse I can put a kitchen set into.

IMHO, the kitchen is the hardest room in the house to paint.
