**For those uncertain to what a DYK thread is......**

DYK stands for Did You Know or Do You Know

It is simply a chit chat thread where every thought is written in sentences and each sentences starts with the initials DYK---it is fun, entertaining and a great way to meet the board members.

Jordyn has been buying them on ebay here and there when she finds them cheap. We still have a VHS player and actually use it quite often, at least once or twice a week, maybe more. I left the veggie tales umbrella she asked for on the list and I am going to buy her one of those reusable sandwich pouches that is made with veggie tales fabric from etsy. I think its more the cost of the tin than anything, I hate putting extremely expensive things on their lists to the in-laws. She also asked for this (IMO god awful) pair of gold metallic combat boots from Delia's. I am actually debating getting them for her myself, they are on sale $10 off right now and I have a 20% off discount, so they'd be closer to $45 instead of the $70 they originally were. I just have an issue with buying them... I'd almost rather give her cash and let her get them for herself, though I know all the cash she gets will go towards the camera she wants.

I agree Wendy, the little girls like them too, emma not as much, but Madison, if you ask her what she wants to watch on TV, its always minnie mouse or veggie tales! I did put a veggie tales book, a DVD and a playset on Madison's list.

Its funny, I was in the car a few months back in the morning taking the kids to school and all of a sudden I turned the radio down to listen to what Madison was singing, yep, the veggie tales theme song, it was the most adorable thing!! And what's even funnier, she has just the slightlest southern accent to her voice when she says certain words. LOL!

Aw, how cute about Madison singing the Veggie Tales song!

When DD is cheering, she says the cheers with a southern accent, LOL.

Possibly, all good things to find out for me going forward. I'm sure wherever she ends up and decides will be the right fit for her!

The letter from JMU wanted Kristen to verify her email address and a few other things.
