**For those uncertain to what a DYK thread is......**

DYK stands for Did You Know or Do You Know

It is simply a chit chat thread where every thought is written in sentences and each sentences starts with the initials DYK---it is fun, entertaining and a great way to meet the board members.

Yes, they are super easy when it comes to returns. Just make sure to have it set as a gift and they will wrap it up and put a note in it on how to return it if they need to. DH's stepmom's mother does all her christmas shopping through amazon and has it sent straight to the house, and the one time we had to return something it was super easy. I also just recently got a mini nail polish set ordered for Jordyn and another friend, it came from an outside vendor through amazon. One of the bottle was broken opened. I went through amazon and the company had a few questions about and were shipping me out a replacement one within 2 days. I've been super happy with service through them!

Alright, 2 more gifts crossed off thanks to cyber monday deals. I got my brother a set of 6 sampler bottles of red wines. I am debating getting a set for my one boss also since i know she drinks wine and this would be perfect, the sampler set has 6 different bottles and each mini-bottle is just enough for one glass of wine. I've got a second coupon code, so if I don't decide today, I can get it later this week in time for christmas. And, I got my grandmother's pears ordered from Harry & David. How i just need to hunt down which photo website has the best cyber monday deals for photo mugs since I didn't get the shutterfly one done last night.

They are having buy one get one 1/2 off, free shipping over $30 and an additional 20% off. If you need the 20% off code, let me know, and its good til Wednesday. I emailed my dad, he likes them and said he'd like one also. I didn't think he'd want a new one since he got one last year and he only drinks coffee at work. I was going to instead getting him a desk calendar, but he said he'd rather have a mug. So I guess I need to make a 3rd one.

That sucks Heather! I also assumed that salary employees were paid, I'd want to check into it, but I hate making a stink about things like that. Did they give much notice for people to plan around it? Can they use vacation time for the time the place is shut down so they can still get paid?

They do have good homeschooling laws and options down ehre in Texas, but its definitely an adjustment. I'm still adjusting 6 years later!! There used to be a lady on the board that homeschooled, they live in Wimberly which is kind of mid ways between San Antonio and Austin, they have a huge wonderful homeschooling community where they do a lot of cross teaching and such. I've always said that if I seriously wanted to do that, I'd look at moving closer to that area.

And hugs on the finances thing, I blew it a bit this weekend, and I was stressed about it after the fact. But we don't really have a budget, I have my own self imposed budget, which I am still well within. But I haven't gotten anything yet for DH. I hope that he doesn't skimp on your gift!!!

Oh, and after I bought my brother's gift (which I was debating getting for my boss also), I found a groupon for the same thing!! So I bought the groupon and I'm going to order my bosses gift. I'm so excited, I should be done with everyone except DH by the weekend!! Oh, and DH's parents, I have no clue what to do for them, and he's no help. They got mugs last year, I really don't think they want them again this year. Maybe I can do a calendar for them...
