**For those uncertain to what a DYK thread is......**

DYK stands for Did You Know or Do You Know

It is simply a chit chat thread where every thought is written in sentences and each sentences starts with the initials DYK---it is fun, entertaining and a great way to meet the board members.

I know!! Almost makes me want the new matching dishwasher and fridge too! LOL! I was actually questioning the color, it's the same as the living room since they run into it, but I have grown to wishing it was a shade or two lighter. But seeing it in the kitchen now, I really like it again.

The Advent calendars for Bible Quest turned out really cute. Very labor intensive, but the kids and their parents seemed pretty impressed.

Our pastor liked the Advent calendars so much, she went out and got materials and the confirmation class made them this evening.

The Advent wreaths turned out really neat also. The kids had a good time making them.

The lady I co-teach Bible Quest with loaned me a book and there's a pattern in there for a cut-and-color Nativity scene. The stable folds on the sides so it will stand up, and all the figures get colored, cut out, and glued or taped onto cardboard tubes (like toilet paper rolls or paper towel rolls). We're doing that next week.

DD takes her behind the wheel test tomorrow morning, first thing. If y'all could say a prayer for her, I would appreciate it.

Going out in the cold and dark at 10:00 at night to pick her up from work definitely stinks! It will be so nice when she can drive herself home from work.
