**For those uncertain to what a DYK thread is......**

DYK stands for Did You Know or Do You Know

It is simply a chit chat thread where every thought is written in sentences and each sentences starts with the initials DYK---it is fun, entertaining and a great way to meet the board members.

I agree with you cheryl, it just annoys me that the arts and such are alwasy the first to get cut, as if they aren't as important as math and science. I know it may not seem like they are, but they are still a wonderful thing for a well rounded life.

Thanks Cheryl, not really. Well, Madison seems to be, though she did throw up this morning all over my bed. :-( But I think that is more because she grabbed my lemonade and chugged it, and promptly threw up...

Emma is still running a fever and is just laying on the couch watching cartoons. If it doesn't break soon, I'll be staying home with her tomorrow.

Jordyn is off at a schoolmates house finishing up a group project, her fever finally broke this morning and other than just achey overall and tired, she's doing well. I am trying to get laundry done, I've done aout 4 loads of bedsheets and thrown up on stuff this weekend. I haven't gotten any of the regular laundry done or the grocery shopping, and we are out of garbage bags... DH is working...

I have to say that I am glad that neither DH or I have gotten sick at all. DH said this morning he doesn't feel "great", but that's still better than actually sick. I have been just fine other than just plain tired from 3-4 hours of sleep a night, so that probably means as soon as I finally slow down I'll get sick.

Oh, and add to it that its a gorgeous 75 degree day out and I'm stuck inside with sick kids and laundry.

The only good thing was that DH and I got up the last two mornings with the little girls and have taken them out for a stroller ride around the neighborhood. We are going to try and make it a weekly habit to walk in the mornings together. I am really looking forward to it, and pushing around 75 pounds worth of kids and stroller is quite the workout!!

Well, Emma's fever still hasn't broken, so I am thinking I'm probably just going to stay home with her tomorrow. I have already planned it basically, I can make dinners for the rest f the week that way, a few crock pot meals for later in the week when the cold front comes in and get the rest of the laundry caught up.

I probably should just email my bosses now and let them know. I'll see how she's doing in about 2 hours and then decide, but its not looking good.
