~~~~~~~~~~DYK Thread for AUGUST~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
**For those uncertain to what a DYK thread is......**
DYK stands for Did You Know or Do You Know
It is simply a chit chat thread where every thought is written in sentences and each sentences starts with the initials DYK---it is fun, entertaining and a great way to meet the board members.
dyk actually i didn't miss anything about being home these last couple weeks except my puppies.. i'm very disgusted with my reality right now. i don't know what to do about brenna.. and i can't even walk in my house right now.. there's just stuff everywhere.. i have to unpack.. but there's not even anywhere to put the dirty clothes cuz we had to move everything out of the laundry area till that's all fixed.. i can barely stay awake, and chris keeps talking and taling and talking.. i just want to crawl into bed and sleep for a few days.. but i don't want to have to wake up to all this crap again.. my mom, zac and i are all on different pages on what to do with brenna.. and i'm tired of cleaning up poop.. the trash is full, and i don't know when the dumpster will get emptied to get that out.. i have to find an envelope and a new batch of checks and get the past due house payment mailed.. and of course the mold i seem to mention in like every post.. i'm really freaking out
she will probably sleep at my parents again.. her and zac are in a giant war, and i hate them even being around each other anymore.. the bus schedule changed though, so it doesn't fit as well with my parents schedule.. so she may end up having to stay at home.. i don't know yet for sure
Dale is very good about fixing stuff.But that can be good or bad.Even when you know something is shot for good,he has to try and try to fix it until he admits it can't be fixed and that we need a new whatever.
that's the way my dad is.. he's been piecing together my washer and dryer for over a decade..
well.. mission mold is about done.. the stinking mop broke less than halfway into the job, so i have to wait for it to dry to sweep up little pieces of crud that were stuck to the floor the first time i swept it
and i can't do under the dryer yet because the washer is moved out in front of it so my dad can look at it
i dug a ton of wet moldy clothes out from behind the dryer.. i don't know how long they've been there.. i guess they fell behind there in the process of dumping huge amounts of clothes on top of it cuz i hate to fold laundry.. and no one else will do it when they take stuff out of the dryer.. so it mainly just sits on top of it to wrinkly indefinitely.
i have about an hour till my dad comes over to put in my new door and look at it
i really wish i could take a nap but i promised chris i'd do his "dig for a shell" thing once he was done with his puzzle.. which he just did.. so i guess i'm off to sit outside and watch him dig a shell out of sandstone.
