Alright, on the premise that the large numbers in the yearly DYK thread may be putting people off a bit, I've taken the suggestion of going back to a monthly thread.

Last time I asked her to clean she went in and mopped the floor and straightened up the towels and stuff, but that was it. The counter was still nasty. And I know she gets upset that the girls use that bathroom, but umm, its the main bathroom, share it and deal with it. But goodness gracious! She has at least twice as much stuff as I have, and at any given time I can walk in there to check on Madison and she'll be sitting on the little girl potty, pants around her ankles, lathering herself up with lotion, hair gel, or anything else she can find and open. And then jordyn gets upset... Hey, she's 2, give me a break. I don't like it eaither, but if you didn't have so much stuff or pick if you'd keep it picked up, she wouldn't be in it.

I hear you. The dog gets into the kids's stuff all the time and then they get mad at her. If you wouldn't leave your food on the coffee table or leave your backpack open, she wouldn't get to it. Duh!!

Oh, goodness, my nephew used to do that. He would go in the bathroom and get into the shampoo, the body wash, whatever he could reach. We had to start clearing everything out of the shower when he came over.

Same thing with The Beagle. She loves to eat makeup (especially lipstick and lip gloss) and lotions. DD keeps her bedroom door closed at all times, even so, that sneaky dog steals stuff out of DD's room every chance she gets, then drags it under my bed and eats it. it is a miracle that she has not gotten really sick from some of this stuff.

We were supposed to have a family meeting tonight, but DD went somewhere with The BF, and DH is not yet home from his meeting at church.
