It is fun and keeps the board going with chit chat stuff!

You start off your posts with...
DID YOU KNOW and then you just chit chat.

You can post several things about your day, a phone call you got.

Its been a nice and mild day. Had lunch with DH...more Indian food. YUM!

I spent some time talking with the mom of one of DS friends. She is hosting her sons 12th Birthday party mid May. Its Errols first sleepover. He has 4 friends in his GATE class and they are all going to the GATE cluster school this September so Im glad he will have a little support system. They are good boys. :)

Errol wants to do his birthday party at a water park with the other 4 boys. I want to talk to the moms before I say yes...make sure they are comfy with that. :) So far so good. Her sons birthday sounds like alot of fun. They are having a nerf gun war and playing video games...pizza for dinner and donuts the next morning.

Im not sure what to do with myself this weekend. I hope the weather is nice. Its been a little gloomy today but warm.

I was actually glad when they sent those huge pads home with us last time, it had been so darn long, and I don't keep large pads at home, I had completely forgotten that I would need a large pad for the post-partum bleeding, and since DH was deployed, I didn't have anyone to be running to the store to get me pads.

I have to say (sorry TMI again), between the leaking and the ever regenerating mucous plug that I am forever discharging, I always have to have a

Ang, was that Rach's first period?

Good luck to your mom. I hope everything's okay and they can take care of it quickly and easily!

Thanks for your response, Melody :)

It's really not him or me that I would be concerned about, it's our kids, because the minute he walks in the door they are ALL OVER HIM

I can't very well tell them not to hug and love on him, that would hurt him so much

I'm sure if he thinks there's a risk, though, he'll shower first, or shower at the hospital before he comes home

I'm not too worried. . . It just crosses my mind. . . He's had patients with flu symptoms coughing on him all day and he's had his hands all over them

I'm sure he wore gloves, though

I was close to 14 too.I am glad Gabby held off this long, because she will be able to handle it better than if she would have started at 10 like my cousins little gorl. She would not bring pads to school because she thought if she did not carry them it would not start at school.Once you are 12 or so you usually don't think that way.Although Gabby still insists that a panty liner will work for her, because she is small so she will have a lightt period.I am sure she knows this isn't so as she has friends and me tell her it isn't but it is one of those things she does not want to hear.
