DYK Thread for May

**For those uncertain to what a DYK thread is......**

DYK stands for Did You Know or Do You Know

It is simply a chit chat thread where every thought is written in sentences and each sentences starts with the initials DYK---it is fun, entertaining and a great way to meet the board members

It is a lot easier to take pictures of the recitial than it was the play. The photographer is always very kind about letting parents take pics, that way I one have to buy pics of Gab in one or two costumes.

Sofia, I'll keep you and your family in my prayers.

I'm sorry Michael had to go in to work, I hope he is able to leave early so he can help you.

12 days left here. Or rather, 11 1/2 I guess, since the last day is a half day.

I think I am looking forward to this weekend more than the end of school, lol. It will be nice to have a weekend with nothing scheduled.

I'm kind of dreading summer, only because the girls seem to drive each other nuts lately. I've already warned them that on the days we are home, we are having a schedule. a flexible one, but we'll have one at least.

They will have quiet time every afternoon and they will also have "study time." And they will be helping me around the house more.

Last summer we had a "chore jar" and they each picked a chore 3 times a week, those were chores like cleaning the windows, sweeping, cleaning the bathroom, etc. Then we also had a few minutes every day that they helped straighten up. It worked fairly well, and I think we'll do it again.

Hey Deanna, I'm fine!

Dh is home and we're watching movies. I just popped in for a minute, and now I have to go.

BBL!
