DYK Thread for May

**For those uncertain to what a DYK thread is......**

DYK stands for Did You Know or Do You Know

It is simply a chit chat thread where every thought is written in sentences and each sentences starts with the initials DYK---it is fun, entertaining and a great way to meet the board members

Well, tomorrow is dh's day off, and I'll be gone most of the day Thursday, so I won't be around much tomorrow.

And I'm working Friday, so it will be a few days before I'm around!

I just told dh that if he is off Saturday (he took off to be home with Zoe while I went on Abby's six flags trip with her, which has been canceled), then Saturday will be Mother's Day for me since he works Sunday.

I told him everyone will wait on me while I sit and do nothing, lol.

He agreed, surprisingly enough!

So Saturday will be my day, and Sunday will be laundry and cleaning.

Hey Ang, somewhere back there when the compute wouldn't let me respond you asked me how Alexis liked track. She likes it okay, she likes the socilalization part of it. She is not a great athlete, but she really likes to be out doing stuff, soooooooo. She won't be making it to sectionals, let alone state.

Apparently we are playing and school, and Zoe is the teacher.

She has been talking non-stop for 20 minutes, and all I have to do is say "ok" every so often and she is happy.

How awful is that, that I'm barely paying attention to her, and I'm on here instead?

Seriously though, the kid loves to hear her own voice and doesn't really care.

The purple is very dark, but it is the same color as their uniforms, I'd hate to put a lighter color that doesn't match, kwim?

Ask that mom! I know I want to be helpful, but don't want to sound bossy. If a less experienced dance or cheer mom would ask me questions, I'd flood them with info.
