DYK Thread for May

**For those uncertain to what a DYK thread is......**

DYK stands for Did You Know or Do You Know

It is simply a chit chat thread where every thought is written in sentences and each sentences starts with the initials DYK---it is fun, entertaining and a great way to meet the board members

That is a long time for a 5th grader to be alone in the am.Plus you would then have to worry about the bus showing up.Tell Jamie it is only for one year, even though she does not like it.Look how fast this year went.

DYK yes the curse of working parents is finding before/after care when kids are ES age....afternoon isn't that much of an issue since Rach will be home & she'll be 13 yo so Jamie won't be home alone.

DYK Yes, Jamie told DH she wanted to stay home alone & catch the bus in AM. But he said he'd worry about her locking up the house by herself since we won't be home all day. Then like you said what if the bus never shows? That's happened to Rach in MS so I'm sure ES would be the same. The expense is worth the peace of mind for us -- plus we'd know she has reliable transportation. The center said they open on time even if the county has a delay in the winter so I like that!

Gosh, that is an amazing price, but as you said, what can you do? You have to pay it and they know it.

Justin's First Holy Communion is on Mother's Day

We're having a lunch for family at a restaurant

We reserved a big room at the back

That's what we did for Matthew, too
