DYK Thread for April

**For those uncertain to what a DYK thread is......**

DYK stands for Did You Know or Do You Know

It is simply a chit chat thread where every thought is written in sentences and each sentences starts with the initials DYK---it is fun, entertaining and a great way to meet the board members

Below are some fun DYK blinkies--feel free to snag any if you like:

not in that regard, because she was like that at the elementary school. If I didn't get the teacher to ask her stuff, it would've been left undone.

Her homeroom teacher was ticked. (OH darnit--I was JUST at Wal-mart and even LOOKING at the gift cards--just looking at the designs, and on the way there I thought I need to buy some for her teachers..darnit).

Anyway...

She said if she had seen it happen, she would've taken it and he wouldn't make her throw it away. She said he might try, but he wasn't going to make her do it...LOL.

This particular teacher is leaving--she was only on a one-year anyway, but decided elementary is where she wants to be. So there's a 6th grade world history position open.

Oh my goodness!!! I'm looking at some prom pics from this year from my high school's rival, and some of the girls are wearing sneakers under their dresses (they are lifting the dresses to show the sneakers in a candid shot).

Why didn't we think of that??????? LOL

All the girls also have nosegays instead of corsages...guess that's the in-thing now.

Marriage IS hard work, for anyone, and if they say it's not, they're lying

Marriage makes you grow and forces you to give like you never have

It forces you to empty yourself and fill yourself with another, and that's a challenge at times

I'm lucky I'm married to a man who makes it easier than most, but that doesn't mean we haven't had our ups and downs over the years

I am just thankful that we have only gotten stronger, because there's always a chance it could have gone the other way I guess

I think communication and keeping the romance alive no matter what are EVERYTHING, and it seems like you guys are making an effort to do both of those things :)
