DYK Thread for JULY

**For those uncertain to what a DYK thread is......**

DYK stands for Did You Know or Do You Know

It is simply a chit chat thread where every thought is written in sentences and each sentences starts with the initials DYK---it is fun, entertaining and a great way to meet the board members

Below are some fun DYK blinkies--feel free to snag any if you like:

That does kind of scare me- that H1N1 might come back with a vengance come October.

If there's a vaccine (hoping there will be) dh will be covered.

ugh!

Well, I was surprised last night. I've been afraid to go out at twilight to see if I see any bats, fearing being bitten by a million mosquitoes, but not a bite on me or Aly. Not that we stayed out for long, but in summers' past, it didn't take long...walking to the car was enough.

However, they have found West Nile in 3% of mosquitoes tested last week, so getting bitten at all is not good.

I'll be relieved when it's done....we're not there yet, he said between 7 & 8 this morning, but that was before the major rain yesterday evening. Looks like the standing water is gone outside, but it's still mushy.

When we visited Virginia in the summer of 1982, we (the kids) had to have our heads inspected for ticks every evening. Thankfully, they never found any while I was there, but I remember them saying my cousin Angie with blond hair--they had a harder time finding them in her hair than they would have in mine (brunette).
