You don't have to be Catholic to go to Catholic a Catholic school.Although if you do attend you may have to take a religious cours,but I am not sure.Plus in this day and age most Catholic school pretty much consist of lay teachers and not the nuns,since there are not that many nuns around anymor.I do know some of the Catholic schools in our area are better with both sports and academics than some of the public schools.

DYK yes, we know that....we know of some Jewish people that go to this Catholic school lol. Yes, religious class is mandatory & chapel may be too, not sure Rach would like that. My dad attended

i agree with you there Laura. Most of our Catholic schools are great with both. The only let down i would have by sending Jackie to one i would be that they preach the catholic religion... and I am not wild about someone preaching that to my daughter. NOTHING wrong with it....its just their beliefs are different than mine.

Thats what I figured.I wasn't sure though since Gab goes to public school.Although I thought my mom said that years ago the kids who were not Catholic and went to Catholic school did not have to go to relogious classes.I am with you on the forced religion though.I am guessing it woulkd be pretty low key,but like I said I went to public school.Gabby went to a Luthern preschool,but pretty much the only religion they taught was a prayer before snack and they had a b'day cake for Jeseus at Christmas time.She did go o a bible school one summer and the were
